Aaron is a licensed marriage and family therapist, certified art therapist, and mother with lived experience in postpartum mental health. She founded Mills Perinatal Wellness Group to fill the gap between hospital discharge and at-home emotional care.
Aaron specializes in helping new and expecting parents navigate postpartum mood disorders, anxiety, identity shifts, and family transitions. She brings compassion, clinical expertise, and a deep personal understanding to every client she supports.

Renee Smith, LICSW

Renee N. Smith is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker licensed in Alabama. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Auburn University Montgomery and her Master of Social Work from Alabama A&M University.
She loves empowering people to tell their story and knows it is a privilege when her clients trust her enough to share their lives. She believes in community and knows when we heal ourselves, we begin to heal our community. Therapy is one of many tools you can utilize for healing and is a sacred, safe space that she honors.

Ashley Barber, LPC-S

Ashley Barber is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor in the state of Alabama. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed her graduate work at the University of Montevallo where she received a Master's degree in Education in counseling, with a focus in marriage and family therapy. She lives in the Birmingham area with her husband and three kids, a daughter, son and labrador retriever. After two difficult pregnancies and deliveries, as well as struggles with post partum anxiety, Ashley's desire became to connect with other women, share lived experiences, be a supportive listener, and help women know they are not alone during these difficult transitions.

Tate Drew, LMSW

Tate is a licensed master social worker under the supervision of Johnna Matthews, LICSW. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Alabama and is currently pursuing her clinical social work license. Tate is married and a mother of two young daughters.
Having navigated her own experiences with postpartum anxiety, OCD, stillbirth, and pregnancy after loss, Tate is deeply passionate about providing grief and bereavement support to women facing these challenging seasons. She is also especially dedicated to helping new mothers transition into motherhood. Faith plays an integral role in Tate’s life, and she is open to incorporating spiritual support into her practice if desired by her clients. Tate is here to support you on your journey, offering connection and empathy during this transformative time.
