Aaron Mills, Marriage and Family Therapist, ATR, PMH-C
Executive Director, LMFT# 621
Aaron is a licensed marriage and family therapist and a certified art therapist. She finds perinatal mental health to be dear to her heart as she has a one year old and has her own experience with postpartum. All women deserve support during these life changing times. Aaron works with individuals struggling with postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. If you are not feeling yourself and are struggling with the day-to-day activities, you are not alone. Let's get you connected.

Whitney McDaniel, Licensed Professional Counselor
ALC Supervisor & Licensed Therapist, LPC# 03218
Are you a new parent? Have you recently become the caregiver for a young child, maybe as a result of things beyond your control? Are you the parent or caregiver for a toddler, or a child with a developmental delay or disorder, or a child who has experienced trauma or other disruptive or challenging circumstances? Maybe your family is going through life changes and transitions. Or maybe you are experiencing postpartum depression or anxiety (this happens to mothers AND fathers!) As an infant and early childhood mental health provider, my role is to support anyone caring for children, parents, or caregivers. Sometimes this means therapy for the adult, or the child, and often for both.
I have spent most of my career helping families: as a volunteer, a childcare worker, a teacher, and for the last twelve years as a counselor. And, most importantly to me, as a mom. If we the adults are not OK, how do we expect the children we care for and about to be OK? Come have a snack or grab a cup of coffee or tea, and we'll figure it out together.
Megan Shory, Associate Licensed Counselor

Megan is an associate licensed counselor in the state of Alabama and is under the clinical supervision of Jerome Wells LPC-S. She received her Master's of Education in Counseling from the University of Montevallo. She has personal experience with postpartum depression after the birth of her son and uses that compassion to help others through their own parenting transitions. She is trained in the modality of Lifespan Integration which helps people connect unpleasant feelings and dysfunctional patterns with the memories of the past events from which these strategies originate. LI is a gentle, but effective modality that helps heal trauma without severe retraumatization.
